Wondering Wednesday – Lost: A Dead Body? (Since 1970)

Last year, a few days before Christmas I blogged about an obituary from the now defunct WILKIE PRESS of Wilkie, Saskatchewan.  Madness Monday: Help Wanted (2011DC20)

A relative of mine, Lorne FARDING, was listed as having been buried in the local cemetery, but when I contacted the City Clerk to inquire further, she had no record of Lorne’s burial!

I then wrote to the Wilkie Press people, but they were closed for Christmas and in the New Year transitioned to a new name, THE WILKIE PRESS HERALD.

So, here we are in the ides of May … and I am searching the Government of Saskatchewan website for Lorne’s death certificate. No luck yet.
